Florida State Falls to NC State

Turnovers once again did Florida State in, losing 21-11 to NC State, who are now bowl eligible at 6-5. The Seminoles will have to wait for next week for a final crack at bowl eligibility.

How it happened

Florida State turned the ball over four times, two interceptions and two
fumbles.

Florida State’s defense kept them in the game, only allowing a touchdown in the first quarter. NC State took a 7-3 lead into the half. They scored again in the third, but Florida State narrowed the lead to 14-11 after a Tommy Castellanos nine-yard touchdown pass to Duce Robinson. NC State scored on a 4th and six to put the game away.

Despite the loss, Florida State had more first downs 21-20. They also had more total yards 383-286 and went 5/12 on third down.
