Cardale Jones started in just 3 games this season  and in his entire collegiate career but now, 3 days after leading Ohio State to a National Championship victory,  he has to answer the question of whether or not he will play Pro ball in the NFL next year.

In those three games he won a Big Ten Championship, a Sugar Bowl win and a National Title.  In the Big Ten Championship he led the buckeyes to a 59-0 shutout of the Wisconsin Badgers ,  he went 12-for-17 passing for 257 yards and 3 touchdowns. Then he went on to beat the National Championship Favorites, Alabama and Nick Saban in a thrilling Sugar Bowl game that was a part of the new College Football Playoff system.

“Cardale’s stock is higher than ever now, maybe higher than it ever will be.” Said Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer of Cardale’s draft stock just 1 day after the National Title Game.

Though his gameplay as a Buckeye has been limited, it has been nearly flawless. He averaged 247 passing yards per game in those three starts, adding a completion percentage of 61% overall in those three starts.

Hot off a National Title run and Championship victory, Cardale will make his official announcement today at 4pm EST on wether he will forgo the rest of his Collegiate Career and pursue an NFL Career.
