College Football Playoff host committee passing of the helmet as Atlanta passes it off to Santa Clara
Atlanta, GA— One day after the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Georgia Bulldogs to be named the 2017 College Football Playoff National Champions, the work officially began for the Bay area host committee with the planning for the 2019 CFP National Championship game. The signifying ceremony for this is the “passing of the helmet”.
