GRAPEVINE, Texas – The College Football Playoff Selection Committee announced today the fifth installment of its top 25 rankings.
The selection committee will prepare one more ranking this season, which will be the final set on Selection Day, Sunday, December 6. The top four teams in the final rankings will play in the Playoff Semifinals on December 31, 2015, at the Capital One Orange Bowl and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
“This was another week of stability at the top of our rankings,” said selection chairman Jeff Long. “Some people outside the committee speculated that this meeting would be simple and easy. It wasn’t.”
