The College Football Playoff Selection Committee released their first rankings of the tumultuous 2020 season Tuesday night. If the playoffs started today, Alabama would play Ohio State and Notre Dame would play Clemson. It’s probable we will see the latter matchup in the ACC Championship Game at 4 PM on December 19th. Cincinnati, sitting at seventh, is currently in the driver’s seat for a New Year’s Six bowl berth as a Group of Five program.
