David Gilliland Wins Fr8Auctions 250 Pole At Talladega

Talladega, AL – David Gilliland ran a 53.032 – second lap to claim the pole position for Saturday’s Fr8Auctions 250 at Talladega Superspeedway as the Camping World Truck Series Wraps up round 1 of their playoffs.

This marks only Davids’ 14 starts in the Truck Series and his 2nd career pole. This, however, will be his first career start in the Truck Series at Dega, along with his son Todd.

His son Todd is the highest starting rookie, earning a 6th place start in Saturday’s race after running a 53.272-second lap.

Just missing the top 12 and having a shot at the pole was Noah Gragson, who ran a 53.451-second lap time, good enough for the 13th starting position in Saturday’s race.
