Matt Kenseth Strategy pays off as he wins Stage 2

Bristol, TN – Erik Jones and Kyle Larson started in the number 1 and number 2 spots when stage two started while Kyle Bush gave up four spots after making a pit stop. At lap 167
Kyle Bush took the lead from Erik Jones. On lap 180 Erik Jones regained the lead from Kyle Bush. On lap 198 Jones was unable to get past Paul Menard who was part
of lapped traffic, which gave Bush the opportunity to regain the lead from Jones.

On lap 202 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. damaged his right front tire causing a caution. After
the field went through yellow flag pit stops Kyle Bush was able to maintain the lead.

On lap 231 Austin Dillon in the 3 car spun out in turn 4 hitting Jeffery Earnhardt
causing the fourth caution of the night. After another set of yellow flag pit stops Matt
Kenseth stayed on the track to take the lead with Jimmie Johnson right behind him.
Kenseth’s decision not to pit paid off as he captured the stage two victory.
