The Buckeyes are in Ann Arbor, looking to get one step closer to a National Title, and an 11th undefeated season. Waiting for them is Michigan, the team which was projected to win the Big Ten in the preseason, and now just hopes to throw a little strife the Buckeyes way.
It’s one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports, however, one that the Wolverines have failed to taste victory from since the OSU 7 game win streak starting back in 2012.
Here we are going into year 6 of the College Football Playoff and I fact, the Buckeyes and Michigan’s cross state rival MSU are the only teams from the Big Ten to make it in this far.
Fresh in the minds of the Wolverine faithful watching a 14-0 first quarter lead last season, end in a dismal 62-39 loss. Harbaugh has never beaten the Buckeyes as the Michigan head coach.
Michigan enters the game 9 point underdogs. However, in their last 15 matchups at home against top 15 opponents, they are 5-1. However, they will have their hands full on both sides of the ball, trying to contain Justin Fields and JK Dobbins and then on the defensive side of the ball, containing Chase Young. All three are Heisman candidates and mean business.
