Atlanta, GA – As the Pro Bowl was wrapping up in Orlando, things started to ramp up in the ATL, as the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams made their arrivals for Super Bowl LIII.

Shortly before 5:30 pm EST on Sunday evening, the Patriots landed at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to prepare for Super Bowl LIII. It marks the Patriots 4th Super Bowl appearance in 5 years. Tom Brady and his team exited the planes with class and look of poised in full suits dressed to the 9’s.  Brady will be looking for his 6th ring, which would set him apart as the only player to ever win 6 Super Bowls. Currently, Brady is tied with defensive end Charles Haley, who won two as a 49er and three as a Cowboy.

New England had just a two and a half hour flight on their private planes to the A.

Then nearly two hours later around 7:20 pm EST, the Los Angeles Rams arrived in Atlanta after their four-hour flight.

The Rams elected for a bit more comfortable clothing, sporting blue Super Bowl LIII Nike jumpsuits as they disembarked from their American Airlines Jet for their fourth Super Bowl appearance as a team ever.  The last time coming when the franchise was in St. Louis back in 2001. That year they lost to, none other than, the Patriots, and Tom Brady. It was the start of the dynasty, but at the time it was just healing for a nation to have the Patriots symbolically win the Super Bowl just a mere four months after the 9/11 attacks.

Things are different now though. Tom Brady’s years are dwindling, and the Rams, just in their 2nd year in LA, are looking like the old “Greatest Show On Turf”, guess it would grass since they moved. However, a much newer and younger version. Head coach Sean McVay enters the game as the youngest to ever lead his team to a Super Bowl, at 33 years of age.

The Rams opened as a favorite in the line but have since been the push to New England being favored by 2.5. So this time, they get to play the underdog role. As well as the much less situational experienced team, with only four players on the roster with Super Bowl experience as opposed to the 38 players on the Patriots roster.

Players and coaches were not made available to the media from either team so we will have to wait to get a take on each teams mindsets as game day approaches. First shot at that comes during Monday’s “Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade“, formerly known as Media Day.
