Concord, NC – Ryan Blaney captured the stage 2 victory of the 2018 Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway after making the only pass for the lead position in the stage.

Kyle Larson headed to the pits on lap 37, forgoing the lead over to Ryan Blaney, who took his first lead of the race and became just the 3rd overall leader.

5 laps ahead of the end of the stage, William Byron cut down a tire and cause Aric Almirola to slam into the wall. The caution didn’t come out, however.

Then just 2 laps before the end of the stage, Brad Keselowski and Martin Truex Jr. got into each other heading out of the final chicane. Once again the caution did not fly.
