Daytona, FL – Ryan Blaney in the No. 12 Menards Ford captured stage two of the Daytona 500 after starting the race in 17th place. He has been able to avoid 5 cautions to this point and was able to hold off a hard-charging William Byron on the final lap of the stage to grab the playoff point and 10 driver points.
As the third and final stage gets underway, 39 of the 40 cars in the field remain on the lead lap, with only Casey Mears being scored as out of this one.
