A win against Washington and a Baltimore loss this weekend, will put the Empire in position to get the 1 seed.


The first-place Baltimore Brigade (7-3) travel to take on the Philadelphia Soul (6-4) on Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m. ET at Wells Fargo Center on AFL Now and AFL Facebook Watch Page. The Brigade can clinch the 1 seed this weekend with a win over Philadelphia and an Albany loss. Soul QB Dan Raudabaugh was activated from injured reserve earlier this week.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR: BRIGADE: QB Randy Hippeard went 24-of-41 for 292 yards and five TDs along with four rushing yards and one TD last week…For the season, Hippeard has completed 229-of-326 passes for 2,383 yards, five INTs, and 52 TDs…WR Brandon Collins caught 10 passes for 131 yards and three scores…For 2018, Collins has 47 receptions for 506 yards and 11 TDs…WR Brandon Thompkins hauled in eight receptions for 82 yards and one TD against the Empire…Thompkins leads the League in all-purpose yards with 1,500 (21 rushing, 669 receiving, 810 kick return)…FB Rory Nixon rushed for four yards and one TD in Week 11…Nixon has rushed for 63 yards in 2018 and eight TDs… DB Joe Powell recorded 3.5 total tackles and one pass breakup last week…Powell leads the Brigade defense with 40.5 total tackles, 0.5 tackles for-a-loss, 10 passes defended, seven pass breakups, and three INTs… SOUL: In his third start under center for the Soul, Austin went for 11-of-18 passes for 174 yards, one INT and three TDs…Austin has completed 55-of-91 throws for 813 yards, three INTs and 19 TDs in three games with the Soul…WR Aaron Wascha has proved to be a top target for Austin the last few weeks…The rookie hauled in four receptions for 85 yards and two TDs…WR Darius Prince continues to be the top receiver for the Soul…Prince caught seven passes for 107 yards and two TDs in Week 11…The duo have combined for 113 catches for 1,467 yards and 36 TDs in 2018…FB Jeramie Richardson recorded 37 rushing yards and four TDs in Week 10, earning  him Offensive Player of the Week honors…In 2018, Richardson has rushed for 125 yards and eight TDs…DB Dwayne Hollis earned the Week 11 Defensive Player of the Week with his 10 total tackles and one fumble recovery…He leads the Soul defense with 51.5 total tackles, seven pass breakups, seven passes defended, and one fumble recovery
