The University of Georgia’s storied football tradition has found a new way to reach fans. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled an exclusive series of bobbleheads commemorating all 11 Uga mascots—just in time for National Bobblehead Day on January 7. This limited-edition collection celebrates the legacy of one of college football’s most iconic symbols, immortalizing decades of history in miniature form.
The Uga Bobblehead Series captures the essence of each mascot, from Uga I, who first donned the Georgia red and black in 1956, to the current Uga XI, affectionately known as “Boom.” Each bobblehead is adorned with personalized details, including the mascot’s signature look and distinguishing traits. With only 2,024 units of each design available, these collectibles are expected to become a hot commodity among Bulldogs fans and collectors alike.
“This series isn’t just about the bobbleheads—it’s about celebrating a tradition that resonates deeply with Georgia fans everywhere,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “The Uga line is one of the most beloved in sports, and this collection is our way of honoring their legacy.”
Priced at $30 per bobblehead, with an option to purchase the full set of 11 for $300, the series is available now through the museum’s online store. Each purchase also includes a flat-rate shipping fee of $8 per order. With the limited run and the strong connection Bulldogs fans feel to their mascots, these figures are expected to sell out quickly.
The bobbleheads are more than just collectibles—they are miniature pieces of history. Sitting atop a University of Georgia logo-shaped base, each figure showcases the personality of its respective Uga, from Uga VIII’s fierce gaze to Uga XI’s playful demeanor. Weekly highlights of the Uga line will feature prominently on the museum’s platforms, diving into the rich history of the mascots.
The story of the Uga dynasty goes far beyond the football field. The Seiler family of Savannah, Georgia, has served as the caretakers for every Uga mascot, passing down the responsibility through generations. These English Bulldogs have become fixtures of Georgia football culture, appearing on the sidelines, in celebratory parades, and even in the stands with fans.
Uga XI, who began his tenure in September 2023, carries the torch of this celebrated tradition. His debut came with a ceremony in Sanford Stadium during Georgia’s home opener, where the symbolic “transfer of power” took place as Uga X officially passed on the collar. Known for his lively personality and undeniable charm, Uga XI continues to embody the spirit of Bulldog Nation.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has become a hub for sports fans since opening its doors in 2019. Beyond housing thousands of bobbleheads, the museum is renowned for its collaborations with teams and organizations to create custom memorabilia that celebrates sports and culture.
For Bulldogs fans, this Uga Bobblehead Series is a chance to own a piece of history. With National Bobblehead Day fast approaching, there’s no better way to honor the Bulldogs’ legacy than by welcoming these mascots into your home—one bobblehead at a time.
