Written by Adrian Beecher
Atlanta, GA- Christopher Bell took the checkered flag after starting on the Keystone Light Pole at the Active Pest Control 200 in the Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway . The victory marks Bell’s 3rd career win in the Truck Series.

Though Bell did not lead all of the laps, he won the two stages prior to taking the checkered flag, thus racking up the points. In total, he captured 60 points, which put him in the lead of the points race this season with 93 overall after two races. That includes 7 playoff points.

In total there were 6 lead changes in the race amongst 4 drivers.  Other than Bell’s lead laps, his team owner Kyle Busch tallied 25 laps. The other two leaders Grant Enfinger and Matt Crafton only led for a combined 6 laps.  Crafton led lap 128 before Bell regained the lead for lap 129 and 130 to take the win.

There was 8 cautions in the race, none that were big pile ups. However, the first caution came on lap 2 of the race as the 7 Brett Moffitt, 17 Timothy Peters and 18 Noah Gragson all got into it. However, it was not too bad of a scuffle, as all three of those drivers ended up finishing in the top 15.

On lap 105, 12 Jordan Anderson got loose into the wall coming into the front straight away that saw him end up in the grass with a good amount of damage that ended his day a bit sooner than desired. Then on lap 126, the 19 Austin Cindric Draw-Tile Reese’s Brand Ford and the 98 Grant Enfinger Ride TV Chevrolet got into each other to send out the final caution of the day.

After back-to-back weeks on the track, the truck series will take a hiatus for almost a month before their next race. That will be held at Martinsville Motor Speedway on April 1st in the Alpha Energy Resources 250.

Here are the final top 5 unofficial results:

1.)    Christopher Bell
2.)    Matt Crafton
3.)    Johnny Sauter
4.)    Ben Rhodes
5.)    Chase Elliot
