Talladega, AL – Erik Jones wasn’t able to make it through stage two of the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. On lap 72, Jones got caught up on the apron and it caused him to get loose, which led to him getting clipped by Jamie McMurray in the No. 1, and then slamming into the No. 6 of Trevor Bayne. Jones finished the day in 38th place.
Here are Jones thoughts after being released from the infield care center.
