Joey Logano will have a slight advantage on Sunday of the four Championship contenders after capturing the pole for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship on Saturday. He ran a 26.788-second lap, 0.003-seconds faster than Ryan Blaney in 2nd.
The rest of the championship four round out as follows.
Chase Elliott in the no. 9 machine will start 5th after locking a 26.979-second best lap. Christopher Bell will start in 17th, after clocking a 26.881-second best lap. Finally, rounding out the Championship Four, Ross Chastain will have his work cut out for him starting back in 25th.
The green flag drop for the finale is scheduled for 3 pm EST from Phenix Raceway.
