Everett Golson will transfer out of the University of Notre Dame according to multiple media reports.Golson reportedly told Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly of his intent to transfer out on Thursday.
“After much thought, prayer and discussion with my family, I have decided that it is in my best interest to graduate from Notre Dame and transfer to another school effectively immediately,”Golson said in a statement he released on Thursday.
It is still unclear where the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina native will choose to transfer too or what limitations Kelly will put on his transfer, but there will be no shortage of Division I programs trying to recruit him.
Golson is a senior and will graduate from Notre Dame this semester, making him eligible to play immediately as a graduate student.
