Atlanta, GA – The MLS ALL-Stars welcomes Juventus to the states for the 2018 MLS ALL-Star game. The first half was filled with excitement as both squads were able to put in a goal. Juventus got on the board first with a header goal from Andrea Favilli (21′), while the MLS ALL-Star’s goal came off the head of the league leader in goals, Josef Martínez (26′). At the half things are knotted up at one all.
The 2nd half was a stalemate between both squads, which would send the game into penalty kicks. Both teams were able to hit their first 3 shots. Then after Juventus took the lead on PK’s with both teams remaining perfect to this point, Bradley Wright-Phillips was the first to miss. This gave Juventus a chance to seal the deal with Mattia De Sciglio stepping up for his penalty. De Sciglio was able to convert the penalty with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner to seal the victory for Juventus.
