Hampton, GA- Continuing their effort to bring younger fans to the sport, Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering an exclusive discount to college students for the second straight year at NASCAR’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. The offer, which includes great value at a low price, allows these students extended access to this weekend’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
At the low price of just 25 dollars, the students will receive a ticket to Sunday’s race, a premium spot for tailgating at Bruton Smith Park prior to the race, and a 10 dollar concessions voucher. On top of all that, they will have the opportunity for an exclusive driver Q and A session, adding to an already great value.
NASCAR is attempting to extend the reach of their fan base, and hope exclusive opportunities like this, along with the rise of young drivers like last year’s Xfinity Series winner William Byron, will begin to grow a younger demographic, which has been a point of emphasis for the sport.
Offering access to the premiere Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race will allow new fans to see the sports best compete, and it will be interesting to see if the push pays off as NASCAR’s youth movement grows.
When asked if this type of promotion will help NASCAR reach the younger demographic, Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Director of Marketing and Promotions Dustin Bixby said, “That’s our goal. We are always looking for new ways to reach out and reach new people and finds ways to grow the sport and we feel this is a great way to reach those folks.”
Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering several great offers for younger fans to take advantage of this weekend. If interested you can head to atlantamotorspeedway.com/nascar/ticket-specials to check them out.
