Las Vegas NV – Johnny Sauter in the No. 13 Tenda Heal Ford was the fastest truck in practice No. 1 for the Gander Outdoor Truck Series Stratosphere 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sauter ran a 30.219-second lap time.
Points leader Grant Efinger in the No. No. 98 Champion Power Equipment For was 5th fastest in the first practice session, running a 30.373-second lap on his 11th lap around the track.
The fastest rookie in the first practice was Sheldon Creed in the No. 2 A.M. Ortega / RTL Chevrolet, running a 30.323 lap time on his 3rd lap on the track.
