Michael Annett Wins First Career Pole To Lead Field at Talladega

TALLADEGA, AL – Michael Annett will lead the field to the drop of the green flag at Talladega on Saturday afternoon in the MoneyLion 300. Annett ran a 50.596-second lap in the final round of qualifying to solidify his spot.

This is Annett’s first career pole in the Xfinity series. Despite that fact, he has been trending upwards this season and this marks his fifth time qualifying 10th or better.

Tyler Reddick qualified 2nd for his seventh top 10 start of 2019, running 0.175 – seconds slower than Annett.

Rounding out the top three was Ross Chastain, who claims his first ever top 10 start at Talladega.

The highest qualifying rookie was Justin Haley, who ran a 50.842.
