Natalie Decker Qualifies 20th for ARCA General Tire 200 at Talladega

TALLADEGA, AL – After a two-week hiatus from the track, Natalie Decker is back in the driver seat. This weekend she is in Talladega for the ARCA General Tire 200, where she will line up 20th in her No. 54 N29 Technologies Toyota.

In her lone practice session of the day, she started out her first two laps on the track running 55.337-second lap times. Then on her 3rd lap of the practice session, she ran her best lap time with a 54.739-second lap. In total during the practice session, she took 13 clocked laps.

During qualifying she was able to find more speed, turning a 54.258-second lap, which was 0.481-seconds faster than the best time in practice. Her fastest lap came on lap two of her four laps on the track in qualifying, lining her up 20th in the 26 car field. Her lap time is 0.960-seconds off the pole sitter Brandon Lynn.

The green flag for the 2019 General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway is scheduled to start Friday evening at 6:13 pm EST on FS1.
