Trevor Bayne Caught in Backstretch Pile up at Talladega GEICO 500

Talladega, AL – Trevor Bayne was in the wrong place at the wrong time during lap 72 of Sunday’s GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. On the backstretch, Erik Jones in the No. 20 would get to low on the apron, causing him to get loose. This would then send him sliding up the track, getting clipped by Jamie McMurray in the No. 1. This cause Jones to turn right into Bayne smashing him into the wall.

This ended Baynes day with a 38th place finish. Here are Baynes thought after leaving the infield care center.
