Whitesville, KY – Points leader Elliott Sadler just made the final round of qualifying in the 12th and final position. Kyle Busch was fastest in the first two rounds of Xfinity qualifying for the ALSCO 300 at Kentucky Motor Speedway.
Missing the final round of qualifying just barely was Ryan Turex, who ran a 30.116- second lap time and was bumped in the final seconds by Sadler.
2nd fastest in round two of qualifying was Christopher Bell. In the final round of qualifying, Bell got loose in turn four and took a spin. The made Busch have to remake a qualifying lap as Bell spun in front of him. Busch would qualifying 3rd in the final session. Cole Custer would capture the pole with a 29.759, just beating out Justin Allgaier who ran a 29.828, just 0.068 seconds off the pole time of Custer.
