Track Speeds Slow in Final Xfinity Practice at Richmond

Richmond, VA– The final practice of the Xfinity series at Richmond ahead of Friday nights ToyotaCare 250 saw slower speeds that the early morning practice session. John Hunter Nemechek in the No. 42 ran the fastest speed with a 22.672-second lap. That was 0.523-second’s slower than the fastest time from session one, posted by Christopher Bell in the No. 20.

Bell ran the 4th fastest time of the final practice with a 22.699-second lap. Justin Allgaier in the No. 7 was the 2nd fastest in final practice, leading the pack for the four Dash 4 Cash drivers.  Daniel Hemric in the No. 21 was the 2nd fastest of the Dash 4 Cash drivers, running a 22.792-second lap, good for 8th best overall.

Spencer Gallagher in the No. 23 was the third fastest of the Dash 4 Cash contenders this weekend, clocking in with a 22.850-second lap, good enough for 10th fastest in the final practice. Rounding out the four Dash 4 Cash contenders was Elliott Sadler in the No. 1, coming in with a fastest lap fo 22.876 in the final practice, good enough for 14th overall in final practice.
